Location: Remote with one day a week in a shared working space in Sheffield
Hours: Full time - 9:30am - 5:30pm as standard, but open to discussion upon acceptance of an offer
Reports to: Senior Ticketing Manager
Salary: £25,000 - Tickets for Good have annual salary reviews, which take place around your initial start date
Other Info: This role is subject to a 6 months probation period.
Overview:
The Client Account Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, whilst managing a portfolio of existing clients. Existing clients are across the UK events industry, from comedy promoters to festivals. This includes researching and analysing potential markets and opening relationships with prospective partners & clients.
You will lead on generating new and existing business, with a focus on developing relationships and partnerships within the UK sports sector, while also supporting the Senior Ticketing Manager with their own existing and prospective relationships.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the company by overseeing the introduction of some of the company's most important prospective clients. You will need to be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering exceptional business development growth.
Objectives:
- Establish relationships with prospective clients, with a focus on sports, to identify potential business opportunities via meetings and clear communication resulting in successful and ongoing partnerships.
- Be responsible for maintaining and growing successful relationships with your portfolio of existing clients and work to make them more valuable and/or more consistent donors and partners.
- Collaborate with the Senior Ticketing Manager to implement strategies to drive retention and growth. Support the Senior Ticketing Manager with the delivery of strategies and new business outreach
- Achieve and exceed ticket acquisition targets for prospective and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential business growth opportunities.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and identify new business opportunities. Reach out to prospective clients and partners to establish relationships.
- Communicate effectively with other departments within Tickets for Good and utilise Notion and the TFG platform to track sales, updates, event administration and account/deal progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account and sales deal activities in Notion.
- Serve as the main point of contact for your client portfolio, developing and implementing strategies to drive retention and growth of the account, whilst fostering strong, long-term relationships through regular communication and periodic reporting/thanking.
- Communicate professionally with clients, adapting language, tone and industry knowledge to develop successful relationships and provide regular sales updates where relevant alongside other satisfaction metrics.
- Act as the first point of cover for the Senior Ticketing Manager in their absence.
- Assist the ticketing and customer service team with fulfilment administration and customer queries as and when it’s needed.
Person Specification
Education and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experience
Experience:
- 1-2+ years of experience in business development, sales, relationship management
- Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners in the entertainment/ticketing space - within the sports industry would be a bonus!
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analysis, identify trends, and develop business strategies.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Notion experience is a plus).
